Praise God the Grandeur

known in the apricot sky,
casting a velvety glow over
the pond and lily pads
before bursting into orange
flames behind the black-
barked forest to the west.

Praise God the Grandeur
shown in mountain peaks,
the ocean’s wild waves,
stars drawing incandescent
pictures in the sky, and a
newborn child’s first cry.
